If you’ve already had an evaluation or are a returning client, you can go ahead and book or reschedule your treatment sessions.

Once you book your evaluation, a member of our team will reach out to guide you through the next steps, including filling out intake and consent forms and confirming any details needed for your assessment.

Our speech and language pathology services are designed to support individuals of all ages in achieving their communication goals. We offer in-home, in-clinic, and virtual sessions to provide flexible options that suit your needs. If you are a new client to the Bright Speech family, your journey begins with an evaluation conducted by one of our speech-language pathologists to develop a personalized treatment plan. Once the evaluation is complete, you can easily book treatment sessions online. Additionally, if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, you can manage your bookings conveniently through our online system.

Setu Acharya is a skilled and compassionate Speech and Language Therapy Assistant with over 9 years of experience supporting children with diverse communication needs. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from India and has worked in a variety of clinical and educational settings.

Setu has a strong background in working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, hearing impairments (including cochlear implant users), and other developmental conditions. Her journey in the field began through volunteer work at early intervention centers during high school, and her dedication to helping children communicate has only grown stronger over the years.

She takes a creative and individualized approach to therapy, focusing on each child’s unique strengths, needs, and interests. Setu is also experienced in incorporating sensory strategies to help children stay regulated and engaged during sessions, making therapy both effective and enjoyable.

Setu is passionate about helping every child find their voice and gain confidence in their communication skills.

Somayah Al-Ees is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and a certified member of Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC). She holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Jordan and a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing from King Saud University. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Toronto, with a research focus on resonance disorders.

Somayah brings over 10 years of experience working with children and youth in diverse settings, including schools, clinics, hospitals, and community centers. Her areas of expertise include language and literacy delays, articulation and phonological disorders, social communication challenges, and early intervention. She also has training in orofacial myology.

Fluent in both English and Arabic, Somayah is passionate about supporting multilingual and culturally diverse families. She uses evidence-based practices, standardized assessments, and a collaborative, family-centered approach to therapy.

Outside of work, Somayah enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, baking, exploring nature, and learning new things.

Ghada Alsa’adeh Speech-Language Pathologist M.Sc. S-LP (C) Reg. CASLPO

Ghada is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist and registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario CASLPO. She is an active member of the of the Speech-Language & Audiology Canada SAC. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology in 2007 and her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2011. Ghada’s experiences were diverse. She provided services to individuals across their life span and from different backgrounds and ethnicities. Her experiences encompassed various environments, including healthcare agency, private clinics and treatment centres, public and catholic schools, retirement homes, long-term care facilities, special education centres, and the residences of the clients. Ghada attended numerous courses to enhance her professional skills and knowledge: Natural Language Acquisition (NLA Level 1), Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (Oral Rest Posture Program), Hanen (It Takes Two To Talk), Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), Lidcombe Program, PROMPT, Food Chaining Therapy, Swallowing Management in the Elderly, Swallowing Difficulties related to Oral Cancer, Modified Barium Swallow Study, Post Laryngectomy Rehabilitation, and Auditory-Verbal Therapy. Joelle Elias is a dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist who earned her bachelor’s degree from the Lebanese University – Faculty of Public Health II, where she also completed her Master 1 in the same field. With more than 9 years of experience across Lebanon and Dubai (UAE), Joelle has worked in a variety of settings, including daycares, schools, clinics, special education centers, and home based environments, providing tailored support to children and adolescents while guiding and empowering their families. Joelle’s areas of expertise include social communication and pragmatics, expressive and receptive language, literacy, speech sound disorders, articulation, and Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC). She is Hanen-certified in the “More Than Words” program, supporting parents of children on the autism spectrum or those with social communication challenges. In addition, she has completed professional training in British Makaton (Levels 1–4), the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS Level 1), and the Attention Autism program.
